General Technician

Position Overview

Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts in Riyadh is seeking a General Technician responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems, air quality control, refrigeration equipment, and other mechanical plant components. This role includes conducting daily inspections, regulating property temperature, and monitoring energy and utility consumption.

Key Duties

• Calibrate controls, gauges, meters, and various equipment to ensure accuracy.
• Assemble, install, test, maintain, and repair electrical systems and electronic wiring.
• Install and maintain pipe assemblies, including fittings and valves.
• Perform routine maintenance on pools and spa facilities.
• Uphold all safety, security, and company policies including reporting hazards and completing mandatory training and certifications.
• Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality regarding company proprietary information.
• Provide courteous and professional guest service, anticipating their needs and addressing inquiries effectively.
• Establish and nurture positive workplace relationships and communicate appropriately with colleagues.
• Uphold quality standards and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency, safety, and cost savings.
• Physically perform tasks that may include reaching overhead or below knees, maneuvering in confined or elevated spaces, moving on uneven surfaces, climbing stairs or ladders, and handling objects up to and exceeding 100 pounds.
• Complete additional reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree from a Technical, Trade, or Vocational School.
• Experience: Minimum of three years in a related field.
• Licenses and Certifications: EPA Universal Certification, valid Driver's License, HVAC Certification.
• No supervisory experience required.
