Position Overview

At Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts, located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, we seek to deliver more than just meals — we strive to create unique, memorable dining experiences accompanied by excellent food and beverages. Our Guest Service Experts engage proactively, ensuring guests enjoy their entire dining visit. Duties include setting tables, communicating effectively with kitchen staff, serving guests, and maintaining cleanliness of work areas and supplies. Each interaction is designed to make every dining transaction an integral part of the guest experience.

Job Responsibilities and Physical Requirements

This role demands adherence to a safe workplace, compliance with company policies and procedures, and maintaining high-quality service standards. Professionalism in uniform, appearance, and communication is expected at all times. Responsibilities require standing, sitting, or walking for prolonged periods, navigating sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, managing menus by reading and visually verifying information, and physically handling items by moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance and up to 50 pounds with help. Tasks also involve reaching overhead and below knees, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Additional reasonable duties may be assigned to ensure guest and business satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
• Experience: At least one year in a related work role
• No supervisory experience required
• No specific license or certification necessary
