Overview
Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts seeks a dedicated CCTV Operator to enhance safety and security within their Dubai property. This full-time, on-site position involves monitoring various security systems, conducting patrols, and ensuring the safety and well-being of guests and staff.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct property patrols and assist guests with room entry access when needed.
- Monitor Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), perimeter alarms, duress alarms, and fire life safety systems continuously.
- Secure entrances by locking them as required during shifts.
- Perform daily inspections to identify physical hazards on the premises.
- Respond promptly to accidents or emergencies, provide first aid or CPR as necessary, and contact emergency medical services.
- Support guests and employees during urgent situations; manage disturbances calmly and defuse conflicts.
- Call for external assistance when needed and document all security incidents with detailed reports.
- Handle all interruptions or complaints to maintain a secure environment.
- Escort unauthorized individuals off the property discreetly to ensure smooth operation flow.
- Attend scenes involving vehicle accidents or thefts to provide security support.
- Utilize appropriate codes when requesting aid and prepare daily loss prevention activity summaries.
- Maintain confidentiality of all security-related information, disclosing details solely to authorized personnel.
- Investigate incidents, collect evidence, and conduct interviews with involved parties.
Additional Job Responsibilities
- Adhere to company policies and report unsafe conditions, accidents, or injuries to management.
- Complete necessary safety training and wear a clean, professional uniform at all times.
- Respect proprietary information and safeguard company assets.
- Greet and engage guests warmly, anticipate their needs, and assist persons with disabilities courteously.
- Communicate effectively using clear, professional language in verbal and written forms.
- Foster positive relationships with team members and contribute to collective objectives.
- Comply with quality assurance standards and expectations.
- Physically, be capable of standing, sitting, or walking for prolonged periods; navigate various environments safely.
- Perform physical tasks including moving objects up to 50 pounds independently, or heavier items with assistance.
- Operate within confined, sloping, or uneven areas and ascend or descend stairs or ramps.
- Utilize fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination for handling various objects.
- Carry out other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
- No prior work experience or supervisory experience is required.
- No specific licenses or certifications are needed for this role.
