Security Officer

Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Security Officer to safeguard our facilities. The role encompasses overseeing all aspects of premises security including CCTV systems, access control, visitor management, and incident handling.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage access controls by issuing and revoking badges, configuring door groups, and implementing access modifications.
• Operate and maintain CCTV infrastructure ensuring compliance with GDPR requirements.
• Coordinate visitor registration, conduct contractor background checks, perform security patrols, and manage opening and closing procedures.
• Serve as the primary responder for security incidents such as theft, tailgating, and unauthorized entry; conduct investigations, document findings, and liaise with police and building authorities.
• Maintain ownership of the physical security policies and audit documentation.
• Oversee relationships with service providers including guarding, alarm monitoring, locksmith services, CCTV, and access control vendors.
• Maintain door hardware and monitor the restricted key register diligently.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in security management or a related discipline; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
• Possession of PSP or CPP certification is advantageous.
• At least 3 years of corporate security experience, preferably within technology firms or regulated industries.
• Practical expertise working with access control solutions and IP CCTV or Video Management Systems.
• Experience managing security vendors and handling real-time security incidents.
