Role Summary

The General Practitioner (GP) offers comprehensive primary healthcare including patient assessment, diagnosing, managing, and preventing various medical issues. This position is essential for fostering health promotion, chronic condition management, and patient care coordination, all while maintaining excellent patient experiences aligned with M42's evidence-based physician standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver all-encompassing primary healthcare to patients across all age groups.
• Perform thorough patient evaluations including physical exams and medical assessments.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic diseases.
• Create personalized treatment plans and track patient progress.
• Prescribe treatments and medications following clinical and regulatory guidelines.
• Champion preventative health through screening, vaccinations, and educational outreach.
• Recognize the need for specialist referrals and ensure seamless patient care transitions.
• Analyze diagnostic results including lab, radiology, and other tests.
• Manage typical medical emergencies and provide stabilization as necessary.
• Maintain detailed and precise medical documentation.
• Adhere to infection control, patient safety, and quality assurance protocols.
• Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings and support continuous quality improvement.
• Effectively use healthcare resources to support organizational objectives.
• Participate in scheduled shifts and on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Medical degree such as MBBS, MBChB, MD, or an equivalent.
• Completed accredited medical internship program.
• Possession or eligibility for a valid Department of Health (DOH) License as a General Practitioner.
• At least 2 to 3 years clinical experience post-internship.
• Experience working in primary care, family medicine, emergency medicine, or internal medicine.
• Strong clinical evaluation and decision-making expertise.
• Excellent skills in communication and patient interaction.
• Dedication to compassionate, patient-focused healthcare delivery.
