Role Overview

The Virtual Reality (VR) General Practitioner at ProCare Medical will deliver extensive primary healthcare services to a varied patient community at an on-site clinic in Surry Hills, NSW. This full-time position includes conducting patient consultations, performing thorough physical examinations, diagnosing and handling both acute and chronic health issues, and formulating evidence-based treatment plans.

The practitioner will interpret diagnostic results, manage prescriptions, collaborate with allied health professionals and specialists, and maintain detailed, up-to-date clinical documentation. Preventive healthcare tasks such as screenings, immunisations, health promotion, and chronic condition management are integral parts of the role. Furthermore, the VR GP will contribute to quality improvement processes and adhere strictly to clinical governance and regulatory standards.

Participation in team meetings, fostering a cooperative team environment, and ensuring patient-centered care delivery to high standards are key responsibilities.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possession of current FRACGP or equivalent vocational registration along with full AHPRA registration as a Medical Practitioner.
• Proven experience in general practice encompassing chronic disease management, preventive care, and acute medical presentations.
• Strong skills in clinical reasoning, diagnostics, and decision-making underpinned by evidence-based methods.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to develop trust and rapport with patients and team members.
• Proficiency with clinical software and electronic medical records systems, showcasing solid computer literacy.
• Dedication to ethical medical practice, patient confidentiality, and adherence to all applicable professional guidelines and standards.
• Capability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams and contribute positively to the workplace culture.
