Job description
Overview of the Role
As a General Operator at Ferrero Cork, you will be integral to ensuring the smooth functioning of the production line, maintaining product quality, and supporting your team during high demand periods. This position requires working a rotating shift system, including 3 and 4 shifts cycles with 12-hour morning and night shifts, including weekends. Flexibility in schedules is essential to meet the operational needs of the department.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate and oversee machinery and production lines while maintaining organizational standards.
- Conduct regular quality and production inspections and keep detailed records of results.
- Meet established production goals by ensuring correct output according to plan.
- Maintain clean work environments by upholding housekeeping and hygiene standards and contributing to waste management and sustainability efforts.
- Support production changeover processes by ensuring removal of leftover materials from previous runs.
- Promote workplace safety awareness and responsibility within your team and work area.
- Assist with training and onboarding new staff members.
- Perform all duties in compliance with company standards and promptly report any accidents or incidents to supervisors or management.
