About the Role

Dawn Meats, a leading European food company supplying to numerous local and global supermarket and foodservice clients across more than 50 countries, is hiring General Operatives to work at their Rathdowney production facility in County Laois, Ireland. This permanent position offers reliable candidates opportunities for training and career advancement.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate as part of a team on the production line, performing tasks such as cutting, trimming, skinning, and packing various beef products derived from slaughtered animals.
• Separate edible portions from offal accurately according to customer specifications while maintaining production pace and targets.
• Prepare and clean materials for production processes ensuring hygiene standards are upheld.
• Perform meat cutting aligned with customer requirements and process animal carcasses safely.
• Maintain cutting equipment by sharpening and adjusting blades as needed.
