Job description

Role Overview

Based at the Grannagh site in County Waterford, this full-time, permanent contract role involves working closely with the HRIS Manager and the wider HR team to enhance HR process efficiency and system utilization across the Irish and UK operations. The focus will be on understanding and improving HR processes, translating business needs into effective system solutions, and ensuring standardized, streamlined HR procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the deployment, upkeep, and optimization of HR systems, specifically CoreHR/PeopleXD.
  • Analyze current HR workflows and convert operational requirements into clear, process-oriented system solutions.
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues to capture end-to-end HR requirements and recommend system improvements that boost organizational performance.
  • Create and maintain documentation including Standard Operating Procedures, process manuals, and user guides for both new and existing functionalities.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of HR data.
  • Manage system access and permissions for HRIS users.
  • Deliver training sessions to end-users on new and existing system features.
  • Resolve user issues and provide troubleshooting support.
  • Coordinate with other departments such as operations, finance, and payroll to align and integrate HR processes and systems seamlessly.
  • Develop and deliver standardized HR reports as required.
  • Assist with other general HR activities as needed.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

  • Possess an HR-related qualification or equivalent discipline.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools including PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and Excel.
  • Experience with HR administrative software, especially personnel management, recruitment, talent management, and learning & development systems; familiarity with CoreHR, PeopleXD, and QlikView is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • In-depth understanding of HR processes with capability to map workflows, detect process gaps, and implement practical improvements.
  • Competent in documenting clear procedures, enforcing process compliance, and effectively communicating system changes to users.
