Job Overview
Join Hilton as a General Mechanic and play a critical role in maintaining the hotel’s functionality and safety. This position involves much more than routine maintenance—it's about contributing to a hospitable environment that ensures memorable experiences for every guest.
Responsibilities
- Assist with upkeep and repair of hotel facilities including guest rooms, public and service areas, preserving operational standards and safety.
- Respond promptly to maintenance service calls from guests and staff, addressing mechanical issues efficiently.
- Carry out routine mechanical repairs and maintenance across equipment such as pumps, valves, plumbing, and fixtures.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and regular inspections to proactively identify issues and perform necessary upkeep.
- Troubleshoot mechanical faults and collaborate in the resolution of breakdowns to minimize downtime.
- Provide support for general engineering and maintenance tasks as needed throughout the property.
- Maintain accurate logs of maintenance actions, inspections, and repairs, and escalate unresolved problems appropriately.
