About the Position
This role is for a General Manager at a McDonald's restaurant operated by an independent franchisee, which is a separate employer from McDonald’s USA. The franchisee manages all employment-related matters including hiring, discipline, and scheduling. McDonald's USA does not influence employment decisions or receive application materials.

Role Responsibilities
The General Manager is accountable for the overall profitability of the restaurant and ensuring high standards in Quality, Service, and Cleanliness are met. Collaborating with leadership, the General Manager sets clear restaurant goals and implements plans to achieve them.
Leading a team of Department Managers, the General Manager supports goal setting, monitors progress, and provides coaching to enhance department performance, which in turn drives the restaurant’s success. Responsibilities also include recruiting and developing Department and Shift Managers to build a strong management team for the future.
Candidate Requirements
Ideal applicants have prior General Manager experience managing busy restaurants, preferably in quick service settings, hospitality, or retail. Candidates must be at least 18 years old to serve as a manager in corporate-owned McDonald’s locations.
