General Manager

About the Role

As a General Manager at a McDonald’s corporate franchise location, you will oversee the profitable operation of a high-volume restaurant, ensuring it meets strict standards in Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. This role involves collaborating with your leadership team to define ambitious restaurant goals and crafting actionable plans to achieve them. You will lead a group of Department Managers, guiding their objectives and progress, while also coaching them to enhance overall departmental performance. Building and developing a strong management team, including Department and Shift Managers, will be essential to steer the restaurant successfully into the future.

Qualifications and Expectations

The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a General Manager overseeing busy quick service restaurant locations, or possess hospitality or retail management background relevant to a fast-paced environment. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. Success in this role requires strong leadership skills to drive a team, set clear targets, provide ongoing coaching, and uphold the high standards expected by McDonald’s.
