About the Role
This opportunity is with a restaurant operated by an independent franchisee licensed to use McDonald's branding and products. Employment decisions and workplace management are handled solely by the franchisee, which is distinct from McDonald's USA. Successful applicants will be employed by the franchisee, who controls hiring, firing, scheduling, and other employment matters.
The General Manager oversees the profitability and performance of the restaurant, ensuring compliance with McDonald's high standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. The role involves goal-setting in collaboration with leadership, strategy development, and managing a team of Department Managers. Coaching and supporting these managers to enhance departmental effectiveness is critical to achieving overall restaurant success.
Additionally, the General Manager is tasked with recruiting and nurturing Department and Shift Managers to build a capable leadership team for the future.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates bring prior experience as General Manager in fast-paced, high-volume quick service restaurants. Experience in hospitality or retail sectors is also beneficial. Candidates must be at least 18 years old to hold a management position in corporate McDonald's restaurants.
