About the Role
This position is for a General Manager role at a restaurant operated by an independent franchisee licensed to use McDonald's branding and products. The franchisee is the employer and handles all employment-related responsibilities, independent of McDonald's USA.
Position Overview
The General Manager is entrusted with directing a profitable restaurant while ensuring adherence to McDonald's high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. This multifaceted role involves collaborating with leadership to establish and execute restaurant goals.
Leading a team of Department Managers, the General Manager is instrumental in guiding, coaching, and supporting these managers as they set objectives and improve their departments, thereby enhancing overall restaurant performance.
Responsibilities may include recruiting and nurturing Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership pipeline for the future.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
Applicants should ideally possess prior General Manager experience in high-volume environments. Experience within quick service restaurants is highly preferred, with hospitality or retail backgrounds also considered valuable. Candidates must be at least 18 years old to fulfill managerial duties in corporate-owned or operated restaurants.
