Position Overview
This role is for a General Manager position at a restaurant operated by an independent franchisee licensed to use McDonald’s branding and products. Employment is directly with the franchisee, not McDonald’s USA, which has no involvement in employment decisions or management of the restaurant.
About the Role
The General Manager is tasked with operating a profitable restaurant while ensuring that high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness are consistently met. Success depends on leadership and collaboration with Department Managers who oversee various functional areas. The General Manager helps set measurable goals, monitors progress, and coaches managers to enhance their department’s performance. This role also typically involves recruiting and developing managerial staff to sustain strong leadership for the future.

Qualifications
- Previous experience as a General Manager, preferably managing a high-volume quick service restaurant;
- Background in quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail is highly preferred;
- Must be at least 18 years old to qualify for a managerial position in corporate restaurants.
