About the Role
This position is with a restaurant operated by an independent franchisee licensed to use McDonald’s branding and products. The franchisee is the actual employer responsible for all employment decisions including hiring, firing, scheduling, and supervision. McDonald’s USA is not involved in these processes and will not receive or manage your application.
Job Overview
The General Manager is entrusted with the full operation of a busy restaurant, ensuring profitability and maintaining McDonald’s high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. This critical leadership role involves setting restaurant objectives collaboratively with senior leadership and driving the achievement of those targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Assistant and Shift Managers, helping them set performance goals and providing coaching to boost departmental efficiency.
- Support departmental improvements which collectively enhance restaurant performance.
- Oversee hiring and development of management staff to build a capable leadership team.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven experience as a General Manager handling high-traffic, high-volume locations.
- Background in quick service restaurants preferred, alternatively strong experience in hospitality or retail sectors.
- Candidates must be at least 18 years old to qualify for management roles in corporate-operated locations.
