About the Role
This position is with a McDonald's restaurant owned and run by an independent franchisee, not McDonald's USA. The franchisee holds the license to use McDonald's branding and products but operates independently, managing all employment matters such as hiring, supervision, discipline, and scheduling.
As a General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the profitability and operation of the restaurant, ensuring that McDonald's high standards regarding Quality, Service, and Cleanliness are consistently met. You will collaborate with your leader to set ambitious restaurant goals and develop plans to achieve them.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Department Managers, supporting them in setting targets and improving department performance.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and direction to Department Managers to enhance their effectiveness and the overall restaurant operations.
- Hire and nurture Department and Shift Managers to build a capable leadership team for the future.
- Ensure smooth daily operations aligned with customer satisfaction and company standards.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as a General Manager, preferably managing high-volume quick service restaurant locations.
- Background in quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail is highly desirable.
- Must be at least 18 years old to qualify for a managerial role within corporate-owned franchises.
