Role Overview

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the General Manager of Business Performance will oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, performance reporting, and commercial decision support for SkyCity New Zealand. This key leadership role partners closely with the Chief Operating Officer and senior teams, influencing decisions to enhance financial performance and foster sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of finance business partners and business performance analysts across multiple divisions.
• Deliver strategic insights, thorough analyses, and actionable advice to maximize financial outcomes.
• Support decisions related to operating expenses and capital investments.
• Collaborate extensively across business units to drive prioritization and resource optimization.

Candidate Profile

• Holds a CA, CPA, or an equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• Demonstrates substantial experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), commercial finance, business partnering, or finance leadership roles.
• Has a proven track record in managing finance for large, complex, multi-location operations.
• Strong skills in financial modeling, forecasting, and business case formulation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship abilities at executive levels.
• Experienced in leading and cultivating high-performing finance teams.
• Capacity to challenge thoughtfully while nurturing trust across the organization.
