About the Role
This role is with a restaurant franchisee independently owning and operating a McDonald's-branded location in Grandville, Michigan. Note that the franchisee is a distinct entity from McDonald's USA, with sole responsibility over employment decisions.
The General Manager is tasked with overseeing a profitable restaurant operation that consistently meets McDonald's stringent standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. Supporting the achievement of strategic goals, the General Manager cooperates with leadership to set objectives and formulates plans for success.
Leadership Responsibilities
The General Manager leads a team of Department Managers, each responsible for a specific operational area. This involves goal setting, ongoing performance monitoring, providing coaching, and guiding department improvements to enhance overall restaurant performance. The role also includes hiring and developing management staff to ensure a capable team for future success.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates possess prior experience as a General Manager running high-volume quick service restaurants, or relevant hospitality or retail management experience. Candidates must be at least 18 years old to qualify for managerial positions at corporate-owned McDonald's locations.
