Overview
This position is at a restaurant owned and managed by an independent franchisee licensed to use McDonald's brand and products. The franchisee operates as a separate entity and employer, responsible for all employment decisions including staffing and supervision. McDonald's USA is not involved in hiring or other employment matters.
Role Summary
The General Manager oversees the restaurant's profitability while ensuring excellence in quality, service, and cleanliness to meet McDonald's standards. This role involves collaborating with leadership to set and pursue clear operational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Department Managers who are responsible for specific areas within the restaurant.
- Support Department Managers in establishing and tracking their goals.
- Provide coaching and guidance to improve department and overall restaurant performance.
- Handle recruitment and development of Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership team.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Candidates should have prior experience as a General Manager managing high-volume restaurants, preferably within quick service, hospitality, or retail sectors. Must be at least 18 years old to qualify.
