Job description
Position Overview
The Shift Manager role involves supporting the pub manager and overseeing the pub's daily operations during shifts. Responsibilities include motivating and organising the team, responding to customer needs, delegating tasks, and working across all areas of the venue such as the kitchen and bar.
Responsibilities
- Assume full responsibility for the pub operation when running shifts, ensuring adherence to company standards and legal requirements.
- Handle customer interactions, administrative tasks, and cash management efficiently.
- Lead, support, and motivate team members to maintain high performance.
- Manage priorities, delegate duties, and tackle problems as they arise.
- Work varied shifts including front of house and kitchen duties throughout the week.
- Ensure excellence in cleanliness, product quality, customer service, maintenance, and ambiance.

Successful candidates should have an engaging personality and a proactive, hardworking attitude. Experience is not explicitly required as full training is provided to build skills and advance a career within the company.
