Job Overview
The General Manager position entails ensuring the restaurant operates profitably while strictly upholding McDonald's key standards in Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. This role involves collaborating with leadership to set feasible restaurant objectives and devising strategies to meet these targets effectively.
Leadership and Management Responsibilities
The General Manager leads Department Managers, fostering goal setting, monitoring progress, and delivering coaching to enhance departmental performance, thereby elevating overall restaurant success. Additionally, recruiting and mentoring Department and Shift Managers ensures a capable leadership pipeline for future restaurant operations.
Qualifications and Experience
Ideal candidates bring proven experience managing high volume fast-food or quick service restaurant locations. Experience in hospitality or retail sectors is also valued. Candidates must be at least 18 years old to qualify for managerial roles within corporate-operated restaurants.
