General Help - Full Time & Part Time

Role Overview

This position supports daily operational activities including cleaning, food preparation and service, as well as dishwashing to maintain a clean and efficient environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of residents' rooms and communal areas through housekeeping duties.
• Assist in food preparation, arrange and clean tables and chairs, serve food, deliver trays to residents, and manage kitchen cleanliness including dishwashing.
• Adhere to health and safety standards, promptly report any injuries or hazards to supervisors, and follow any additional directions from management.

Candidate Profile

• Valid Food Handler Certificate or its provincial equivalent is required.
• Previous experience in housekeeping and food services is advantageous.
• Background in healthcare or long-term care facilities is preferred.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
• Proficient English communication skills, both oral and written, with the capability to understand and execute instructions effectively.
