Job Overview

We are seeking an FX Quantitative Strategy Analyst to contribute to the development and refinement of quantitative foreign exchange strategies within the cross-border payments segment. The role centers on harnessing data-driven insights to amplify strategy effectiveness, enhance the underlying data infrastructure of the FX platform, and offer quantitative and operational insights to business teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, organize, model, and scrutinize FX platform data to uncover new strategy opportunities through robust quantitative analysis.
• Continuously monitor and assess deployed FX strategies, discerning patterns and drivers from data, and optimizing performance considering various market and business dynamics.
• Collaborate to progressively build and improve the data infrastructure supporting the FX platform, ensuring superior data quality according to strategic and business requisites.
• Develop data-driven FX customer profiles to aid business teams with tailored quantitative tools and operational insights.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in quantitative analysis or development within banking or financial institutions.
• Strong grasp of financial markets, with acute insight into market trends and patterns.
• Proficiency in classical statistical analysis, solid data analytical abilities, and programming competence; capable of independently completing end-to-end data analysis assisted by AI tools.
• Excellent logical reasoning and problem-solving aptitude to structure complex challenges and extract pertinent insights.
• Effective communication and presentation skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• High ownership mindset, curiosity, and passion for financial markets and quantitative study.
• Ability to perform well under pressure in dynamic, fast-paced settings.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with various FX products, trading conventions, and market regulations.
• Proven track record in developing or optimizing quantitative FX strategies.
• Experience analyzing trading behaviors or execution patterns of counterparties.
