Strategic Ecosystem Partnership Manager

About the Role

The Corporate Development Group (CDG) at Tencent serves as the company's platform for new business incubation and exploration. CDG drives innovation and development in key areas including financial technology, advertising, marketing services, payment, and financial applications. It acts as a professional support entity facilitating strategic planning, investments, mergers and acquisitions, investor relations, corporate communications, marketing, and public relations for Tencent and its business groups.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish strategic partnerships with prominent overseas ecosystem stakeholders like advertising platforms, SaaS providers, industry alliances, and agency networks.
• Lead and initiate collaborative marketing campaigns and lead-sharing programs to supply the sales team with qualified prospective clients.
• Maintain strong partner relationships to ensure execution of agreements and foster mutually beneficial outcomes.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of five years’ experience in channel partnerships, customer success, or key account management within advertising or internet sectors. Experience working internationally and having related industry contacts is highly advantageous.
• Demonstrates excellent aptitude in building and nurturing relationships, strong negotiation skills, strategic planning capabilities, and a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset. Committed to delivering excellent customer service and adept at problem solving.
• Possesses a thorough understanding of the digital advertising landscape, with basic familiarity of ad placements and data analytics to support professional interaction with clients and partners.
