Role Overview

We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic Shop Assistant to support customers, ensure the store remains well-stocked and visually appealing, and collaborate with a team passionate about fresh food. Prior experience is not necessary as full training will be provided. Essential qualities include a friendly demeanor, pride in your role, and a strong passion for fresh, quality food. Many Store Managers started in this position.

Key Duties

• Replenish and rotate stock to ensure shelves are full, fresh, and inviting.
• Organize, clean, and manage Back of House areas effectively.
• Monitor product quality, check expiry dates, and apply FIFO stock rotation methods.
• Maintain excellent shelf presentation for convenient customer access.
• Deliver attentive and helpful assistance to customers on the shop floor.
• Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety protocols.
• Collaborate proactively with team members to facilitate smooth daily store operations.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate has a passion for food and prior experience in fresh food retail. Key attributes include:
