Job Overview

The Sales Associate will utilize their expertise and enthusiasm to assist pet owners in selecting appropriate nutrition and products for their pets. Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register and handle customer sales transactions efficiently.
• Prepare merchandise orders, manage banking tasks, and complete various administrative paperwork.
• Stock small merchandise items (under 10 lbs) such as pet supplies and household goods onto store shelves.
• Maintain store appearance by sweeping, dusting, and fulfilling general upkeep duties.
• Assist with unloading deliveries of cases and bags containing pet food and supplies, lifting items up to 50 lbs, and stocking them appropriately.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support store operations.

Requirements

• Prior experience in retail or customer service environments.
• Familiarity with operating point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent customer service skills.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Willingness to work scheduled shifts including weekends and evenings to meet attendance expectations.
• Reliable transportation arrangement for commuting to and from the store.
