Role Overview

As a Sales Associate, you will leverage your knowledge and experience to guide Pet Parents in choosing appropriate nutrition and other pet products. You will be part of a passionate team of Pet Experts, enjoying the satisfaction of assisting customers daily. This opportunity is ideal for individuals eager to learn and grow with a leading pet retail brand in North America.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register and assist customers with their purchases.
• Prepare merchandise orders and complete related paperwork, including banking tasks.
• Stock small merchandise items (under 10 lbs) such as pet supplies and household goods on sales floors.
• Perform general store upkeep including sweeping, dusting, and maintenance.
• Help unload delivery shipments containing pet food and supplies (up to 50 lbs) and stock them appropriately.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Prior experience in retail or customer service roles.
• Familiarity with operating a point-of-sale system.
• A friendly and outgoing personality with strong customer service skills.
• Physical ability to repeatedly lift weights of up to 50 lbs.
• Availability to work as scheduled, including weekends and evenings.
• Reliable transportation to commute to the store.
