Full Time Merchandising Service Associate - Day Shift

About the Role

As a Merchandising Service Associate at Lowe's, you play a crucial role linking Merchandising and Store Operations, ensuring an outstanding shopping environment at every store. You will focus on assembling eye-catching product displays and executing strategies for showcasing trending products, contributing significantly to customer satisfaction.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform merchandising resets and service projects following Lowe's standards, providing confirmation of task completion.
• Manage buyback items by verifying, preparing, and arranging them for shipment.
• Maintain and update signage for navigation and product location, both physically and digitally throughout the store.
• Ensure pricing details are clear, visible, and replace any missing labels.
• Enhance add-on sales by organizing clearance items, placing products properly, and managing display placements.
• Fix or replace any damaged or missing displays, signage, or merchandise promptly.
• Coordinate with the Merchandising Services Team and Manager on project priorities, schedules, and requirements.
• Analyze performance metrics and provide constructive feedback on project implementation and in-store services to leaders at various levels.
• Undertake additional assigned responsibilities as required.

Qualifications and Skills

• Basic literacy and numeracy skills including reading, writing, and performing simple arithmetic.
• Effective verbal communication and listening skills.
• Competence in using web-based computer applications to complete duties.
• Physical ability to stand and sit for extended durations.
• Capability to lift at least 25 pounds unassisted or heavier weights with accommodations.
• Preferred experience includes sales floor work, product merchandising with planogram comprehension, and operating powered equipment such as lifts or order pickers.
• Knowledge of hand tools like drills, saws, and related equipment is advantageous.

Work Schedule & Conditions

• Standard weekday schedule helps keep weekends free, except those working in the Live Nursery who might need weekend shifts.
• Working conditions include exposure to various weather environments and possible noises from equipment.
• Lifting guidelines limit single-lifts to 75 pounds with teamwork or powered equipment assistance for heavier loads.
