Full-Time Merchandise Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer experiences by actively engaging with shoppers and maintaining a neat, well-organized sales environment.
• Uphold integrity and confidentiality while fostering a positive work culture.
• Manage merchandise receiving operations including prioritizing truck deliveries to ensure timely processing onto the sales floor.
• Coach and train team members on merchandising standards and efficient processing practices.
• Ensure all merchandise is accurately tagged, hung, secured, and coded in accordance with company standards.
• Coordinate with the on-duty coordinator to optimize the flow of merchandise from receiving to sales floor.
• Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and promote completion of tasks aligned with store plans and priorities.
• Maintain back stock by organizing and rotating inventory for prompt replenishment.
• Enforce merchandising philosophies and store signage guidelines consistently.
• Keep backroom areas clean, organized, and compliant with recycling and hazardous waste programs.
• Communicate effectively with management and associates regarding priorities and progress updates.
• Participate in training programs with management to improve associate effectiveness.
• Comply with all labor laws, company policies, and procedures while promoting credit and loyalty programs.
• Contribute to shrink reduction initiatives and sustain a safe working environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support store operations.

Candidate Profile

• Available to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends.
• Exceptional communication, organizational skills, and a strong eye for detail.
• Able to multitask and adapt to changing directions or unexpected circumstances.
• A collaborative team player who works well with both peers and supervisors.
• Physical capability to lift heavy objects, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Experienced in training others effectively.
• At least 1 year of retail experience combined with 6 months in leadership roles.

Compensation

The position offers an hourly wage range between $14.00 and $14.50, determined by qualifications, experience, and skills.
