Role Overview

We seek an Assistant Store Manager passionate about creating an inclusive, supportive workplace. This role involves empowering the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences through dynamic daily challenges and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Advance store performance by supporting sales results, managing expenses, and overseeing operations such as merchandising, backroom management, cash office, customer service, markdowns, scheduling, shipping, receiving, with a focus on reducing shrinkage and damages.
• Recruit, attract, and develop top talent through thorough training and ongoing coaching. Act as a mentor and role model fostering a positive environment for associates and customers alike.
• Communicate and apply action plans related to projects, goals, company initiatives, and store transformations. Contribute to succession planning for future staffing needs.
• Deploy strategies to attain sales, expense, and customer service objectives. Coordinate loss prevention and operational programs, enhancing store layout and efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least two years of retail leadership experience in an Assistant or Store Manager capacity.
• Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate a sizable team.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, capable of influencing others and delivering constructive feedback and mentorship.
• Competency in store operations, customer service, merchandising, people management, safety, and loss prevention with firm follow-through to execute initiatives effectively.

Compensation

This position is bonus and overtime eligible with an hourly pay range of $22.70 to $31.20, translating approximately to $56,577 to $77,762 annually. Starting pay is based on factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications.

Store Location: 2391 US Highway 93 North, Kalispell, MT, USA.
