Position Overview

Reporting to the Retail Manager of Softlines, this role involves collaborating within a team to deliver an exceptional shopping experience through outstanding customer service and detailed product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service by helping customers with their purchase decisions through assessing their needs and suggesting appropriate products.
• Promote the company's various programs and current promotions.
• Uphold visual merchandising standards including signage placement, front-facing merchandise, restocking, remerchandising, and maintaining cleanliness of the sales floor.
• Effectively address and resolve customer concerns using sound judgment and decision-making skills within the scope of the role.
• Flexibly support other store departments as business demands require.
• Stay informed on outdoor lifestyle trends and advancements to demonstrate a genuine passion for the outdoors.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Preferably at least one year of experience in sales or customer service.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to assess customers’ needs and provide product recommendations accordingly.
• Commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences that surpass expectations.
• Capable of employing logical reasoning and good judgment.
• Experience related to outdoor activities or lifestyle is beneficial.
• Familiarity with Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s products is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

• Starting hourly wage between $17.60 and $20.25.
