Role Overview
We are seeking a Full-Time Bakery Clerk who is fully available during working hours. The ideal candidate will go above and beyond to serve customers and support team members in delivering excellent service in the bakery department.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing exceptional customer service and supporting coworkers.
- Operating the cash register accurately and efficiently, including bagging groceries.
- Sharing detailed product information and knowledge with customers.
- Maintaining department presentation by ensuring shelves are stocked and orderly.
- Ensuring all bakery items displayed are fresh and of high quality.
- Addressing customer inquiries and fostering positive experiences.
- Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and the work area to uphold safety and hygiene standards.
- Utilizing various tools and equipment safely, including knives.
Candidate Requirements
- A genuine enthusiasm for quality food and excellent customer service.
- A dependable work ethic combined with a proactive, can-do attitude.
- High integrity, enthusiasm, and dedication to going the extra mile.
- Experience in retail customer service is advantageous but not mandatory.
