Job Overview

Deliver outstanding guest service by performing various bakery department duties with professionalism and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests politely and maintain friendly interactions.
• Prepare bakery products for sale, including baking, weighing, and pricing items.
• Ensure proper levels, quality, and freshness of bakery products.
• Assist with cake decorating tasks when needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in cooler, freezer, preparation, and sales areas.
• Communicate guest requests and temperature issues to management and supervisors.
• Keep supply areas orderly and tidy at all times.
• Carry out additional duties assigned by management.
• Perform front-end tasks to uphold a “no noticeable wait” customer experience.
• Announce specials and sales information over the PA system.
• Assist in product receiving and storage procedures.

Candidate Qualifications

• Possess a friendly and outgoing demeanor.
• Work well collaboratively with team members.
• Capable of frequently lifting 25 lbs and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information effectively.
• Exhibit strong communication, customer service, and sales skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Physically able to bend, kneel, and stand for extended durations.
