Deli Clerk Full-Time

Overview

This role focuses on delivering outstanding guest service within the deli department, handling various food preparation and customer interaction activities to maintain high standards.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and engage guests with a friendly demeanor.
• Prepare deli products through frying, cutting, slicing, weighing, and pricing tasks.
• Ensure product availability, maintain quality, and keep items fresh.
• Uphold sanitation and cleanliness standards in coolers, freezers, preparation, and sales areas.
• Relay guest requests efficiently to management.
• Report any temperature issues or equipment breakdowns to the supervisor promptly.
• Keep supply and work areas orderly and clean at all times.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by management.
• Manage front porch activities to uphold a welcoming guest arrival experience.
• Announce daily specials and promotional information via the public address system.
• Assist with receiving and storing incoming products.

Qualifications

• Possess a friendly, outgoing personality suited for guest interaction.
• Work cooperatively and effectively with team members.
• Capable of consistently lifting 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Comprehend written and verbal instructions clearly.
• Strong communication, customer service, and sales skills.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for prolonged durations.

Additional Information

Compensation starts at $13 per hour.
