Full Stack Software Engineer – Nopex Platform

About the Role

Nopex is an AI-agent-driven platform focused on software delivery automation. The platform converts requirements into fully operational production systems by coordinating a network of specialized AI agents that handle planning, coding, testing, reviewing, deploying, and managing software, with human involvement at critical points.

As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will contribute to the development and enhancement of our five main products: Console (a SaaS solution for requirements and documentation), Swarm (a multi-agent orchestration service), Hive (the control plane), Stack (an AI-powered CI/CD system), and Billing Gateway. Your work will include creating features that serve both human users and AI agents, collaborating closely with the AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive end-to-end features utilizing Next.js 16 and React (shadcn/ui, Nopex Design System) on the frontend, paired with Fastify or NestJS APIs on the backend, integrated with PostgreSQL (via Drizzle) and Redis/BullMQ for queue management.
• Create product interfaces suitable for both human and AI agent consumption, including REST APIs validated with Zod, MCP tools, and streaming data through SSE/WebSocket protocols.
• Enhance the Swarm component by building new persona plugins, tools, workspace drivers, or transport adapters.
• Work on core platform infrastructure elements such as pipelines within Stack, deployment drivers in Hive, and webhook workflows in the Billing Gateway.
• Take ownership of production environments by implementing monitoring with Sentry, maintaining test coverage through Playwright and Vitest, managing Kubernetes manifests, and participating in on-call rotations to address operational issues.
• Collaborate interactively with AI agents by reviewing pull requests generated by Swarm and contributing your own code continuously.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years experience developing production-ready TypeScript software across both frontend and backend domains.
• Proficient in Next.js and React frameworks, alongside at least one Node.js backend framework such as Fastify or NestJS.
• Comfortable working with PostgreSQL databases, ORM tools like Drizzle or Prisma, and Redis-powered queue systems.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies, specifically Docker and Kubernetes, with the ability to use commands such as 'kubectl describe' confidently.
• Strong opinions and practical experience in API design, emphasizing type safety and validation strategies.
• A balanced and pragmatic approach to AI tooling, neither overly enthusiastic nor dismissive.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with large language models and agents (e.g., Anthropic, OpenAI), including prompt caching and tool-use protocols.
• Familiarity with monorepo management tools such as pnpm workspaces and Turbo.
• Proficiency in database migrations with Drizzle, API contract-first development with Zod, and OpenAPI 3.1 standards.
• Experience in observability tooling, including Sentry, OpenTelemetry, and trace user interfaces.
