About the Role
Join a financial services client’s customer acquisition team as a Senior Software Engineer, responsible for crafting the initial experience that customers have with their financial platform. Your work will impact the journey from the first website visit to becoming an active customer, including public site features, onboarding processes, identity verification, sign-in, and promotional initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop customer-centric features using React and TypeScript along with backend APIs and services implemented in .NET.
- Enhance onboarding workflows, Single Sign-On (SSO) mechanisms, and systems controlling customer data requirements.
- Take end-to-end ownership of features from initial design conversations through release and iterative improvements.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including design, product management, compliance, and other engineering teams.
- Ensure solutions are performant, reliable, accessible, and maintainable.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven full-stack engineering skills with a strong command of .NET and frontend development using React and TypeScript.
- Experience working with relational databases, implementing data-driven business rules, and managing headless Content Management Systems (CMS).
- Attention to edge cases and a consistent approach to writing clear, testable code.
- Interest in how technical choices impact conversion rates and overall customer experience.
- Ability to confidently take ownership in a dynamic, evolving priority environment.
Additional Desired Knowledge
- Familiarity with OAuth/OIDC or SAML protocols.
- Experience integrating Know Your Customer (KYC) processes.
- Exposure to multilingual website development, technical SEO, or designing products focused on high conversion.
