Full Stack Engineer

About the Role

Systems Arabia is looking for a skilled Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web, mobile, and backend solutions. This role involves working with a technology stack including Node.js, Next.js, React, React Native, and PostgreSQL to deliver robust APIs, integrate with SAP systems, and provide production support. Collaboration with client IT and Business teams to solve technical challenges and deliver high-quality enhancements is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and support full-stack web applications leveraging Node.js, Next.js, and React frameworks.
• Build and maintain mobile applications using React Native for diverse platforms.
• Develop scalable backend services and RESTful APIs utilizing Node.js.
• Integrate SAP systems and external REST APIs efficiently.
• Design and optimize database schemas and queries in PostgreSQL.
• Diagnose and resolve issues affecting web, mobile, backend, and integration systems in production environment.
• Conduct root cause analysis to implement durable technical solutions.
• Engage directly with customer IT and Business stakeholders to gather requirements and address challenges.
• Own end-to-end delivery of development tasks, encompassing analysis, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure prompt project completion and feature enhancements.
• Ensure applications meet expected standards for performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Develop reusable software components and integration patterns in line with best practices.
• Participate actively in code reviews, technical discussions, debugging sessions, and process improvements.
• Support ongoing software deliverables, enhancements, and deployment activities.
• Adhere strictly to coding standards, security protocols, and software development best practices.

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Minimum of 4 years of comprehensive hands-on experience in full-stack software development.
• Demonstrated expertise in backend development using Node.js.
• Strong frontend development skills with React and Next.js frameworks.
• Practical experience building mobile applications using React Native.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL and relational database design concepts.
• Solid experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience with SAP and enterprise system integrations.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex production-related issues.
• Deep understanding of architecture across frontend, backend, mobile, database, and integration layers.
• Knowledge of API design principles, including authentication, error handling, logging, and integration patterns.
• Familiarity with Git, version control, code review processes, and collaborative development methods.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude with autonomous troubleshooting capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management proficiency.
• Fluent Arabic communication skills are mandatory for effective collaboration with client teams.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Proactive ownership attitude, capable of managing assigned tasks independently through all development stages.
• Immediate availability or ability to join with short notice is preferred.
