Job description
Job Overview
We seek a proficient Full Stack Developer with extensive experience in Java, Spring Boot frameworks, and webMethods API Gateway and Developer Portal platforms. The role centers on backend service creation, frontend development with modern frameworks, and comprehensive API integration across enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Build scalable backend applications leveraging Java and Spring Boot technologies.
- Create, design, and integrate RESTful APIs using OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
- Utilize webMethods API Gateway and Developer Portal for efficient API management.
- Develop frontend user interfaces employing React, Next.js, or Angular frameworks.
- Facilitate smooth integration between frontend applications and backend API services.
- Oversee API lifecycle processes including subscription handling, policy enforcement, application registration, credential management, and developer onboarding procedures.
- Diagnose and resolve integration challenges ensuring optimum app security, scalability, and performance.
- Engage and collaborate with both technical colleagues and business stakeholders to deliver complete solutions.
Candidate Requirements
- Demonstrated practical experience in Java programming and Spring Boot framework usage.
- Familiarity and work experience with webMethods API Gateway or Developer Portal tools.
- Expertise in RESTful APIs, API integrations, and OpenAPI/Swagger description.
- Hands-on skills in frontend frameworks: React, Next.js, or Angular.
- Comprehensive understanding of API lifecycle management and security principles.
- Ability to integrate frontend components with backend services through APIs seamlessly.
- Strong analytical thinking and effective communication capabilities.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud computing platforms.
- Knowledge of security standards including OAuth 2.0, JWT, along with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices.
- Experience operating within enterprise integration or middleware landscapes.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline.
