Job description
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled WebMethods API Developer with practical expertise in API creation, integration, and management using the webMethods platform. The candidate should demonstrate deep knowledge in webMethods Flow language, Integration Server, API Gateway, JMS messaging, and Terracotta caching to build robust integration services, oversee API settings, and apply security and resilience techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, sustain, and enhance APIs and integration services leveraging webMethods Flow language while following best development practices.
- Handle daily operations for webMethods Integration Server such as configuring services, deployments, and resolving issues.
- Set up, publish, deploy, and govern APIs via the webMethods API Gateway.
- Design JMS messaging solutions using Publish/Subscribe and Producer/Consumer approaches.
- Administer Terracotta cache functions including reading, updating, and clearing cached data.
- Apply threading and asynchronous techniques in Flow services to optimize task execution.
- Develop and implement circuit breakers, retry policies, and error handling to enhance the robustness of services.
- Configure API Gateway policies, supervise API traffic, and interpret performance and usage data.
- Implement OAuth 2.0 for authentication and manage security elements such as SSL certificates and PFX files.
- Troubleshoot and resolve API integration challenges while assuring service reliability, uptime, and security.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of six years of practical experience in webMethods development and API integration.
- Excellent command of webMethods Flow language, service development, and working with Integration Server.
- Experience in configuring and operating webMethods API Gateway including tasks like API publishing and deployment.
- Understanding of JMS messaging concepts, specifically Publish/Subscribe and Producer/Consumer models.
- Proficiency with Terracotta caching methods and cache data operations.
- Skills in implementing threading, circuit breaker patterns, retries, and exception handling.
- Familiarity with API Gateway policy management, analytics tools, and OAuth 2.0 authentication flows.
- Knowledge of SSL certificates, handling of PFX files, and secure API communications.
- Strong analytical mindset with effective debugging and problem-solving capabilities.
- Must be able to work onsite at the Riyadh location in Saudi Arabia.
