About the Role
As a Software Developer at Thoughtworks, you will collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Quality Analysts, Designers, and Project Managers to craft software solutions that drive meaningful change for clients. You will thoughtfully understand the business context to produce clean, iterative code delivering impactful results. Key Responsibilities
- Adopt and implement best practices including clean and reusable coding, Test-Driven Development (TDD), pair programming, and design pattern application.
- Utilize continuous delivery methods to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software and value to clients.
- Collaborate within value-driven teams to build innovative and engaging customer experiences.
- Partner with cross-functional team members to design features, prototypes, and ensure adherence to UX and best practice standards.
- Advocate and demonstrate DevOps culture alongside other technologists.
- Assume ownership beyond individual tasks, consistently pushing boundaries to achieve excellent client outcomes.
- Stay informed on emerging technologies from Thoughtworks' Technology Radar and apply these learnings to client challenges.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of four years’ experience as a software developer.
- Proven full-stack development expertise, particularly with Node.js and Object-Oriented Programming.
- Ability to produce clean, maintainable, high-quality code across multiple languages, with a capability to identify and improve poor code.
- Proactive and open attitude towards AI adoption, integrating AI-assisted tools and techniques to enhance productivity and innovation.
- Familiarity with Agile, Lean methodologies, and continuous delivery principles including TDD, continuous integration and deployment tools.
- Bonus: Experience or knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Docker, or Kubernetes.
