This position is exclusively open to Saudi nationals; applications from non-Saudis will not be considered.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications of production quality utilizing React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Create frontend components that are reusable, scalable, and easy to sustain.
• Transform product specifications and designs into user-friendly, responsive interfaces.
• Integrate frontend modules with RESTful APIs and real-time communication services.
• Implement real-time user experiences using WebSockets and Socket.IO.
• Handle event-driven workflows connected to RabbitMQ and backend messaging systems.
• Manage scenarios with real-time updates, reconnections, error handling, and UI synchronization with live events.
• Efficiently manage server state with React Query/TanStack Query and complex client-side state with Redux/Redux Toolkit when appropriate.
• Contribute to enhancements in frontend architecture, performance, and maintainability.
• Write effective unit and integration tests using Jest, and develop end-to-end tests with Playwright.
• Participate actively in code reviews, ensuring code quality and addressing potential regression or edge cases before deployment.
• Use AI tools as accelerators in development, debugging, testing, and refactoring while critically evaluating AI-generated code.
• Take full ownership of tasks from requirement gathering through to production deployment, maintain effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, and communicate progress and technical risks clearly.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline.
• 0 to 2 years of professional experience in frontend development.
• Solid understanding of JavaScript fundamentals and proficient hands-on experience with React.
• Good grasp of TypeScript for type-safe software development and React core concepts including components, hooks, state management, rendering, and lifecycle.
• Experience interfacing frontend applications with APIs and managing asynchronous data flows.
• Familiarity with React Query/TanStack Query and Redux/Redux Toolkit state management libraries.
• Knowledge of frontend testing tools such as Jest and Playwright.
• Awareness of real-time frontend architectures using WebSockets and Socket.IO.
• Basic understanding of message queuing and event-driven systems, particularly RabbitMQ.
• Awareness of real-time frontend challenges like reconnection management, handling duplicates, stale data, and UI-state synchronization complexities.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, responsive design principles, and browser fundamentals.
• Experience using Git in collaborative development environments.
• Strong debugging skills oriented toward resolving root causes rather than applying temporary fixes.
• Ability to produce clean, understandable, and maintainable code.
• Practical experience utilizing AI-assisted development tools to boost productivity.
• A strong desire to learn continuously and enhance skills, excellent communication, and teamwork capabilities.
