Front Store Supervisor

Overview

Join a locally owned Shoppers Drug Mart store in Bedford, Nova Scotia, to deliver health, beauty, and convenience services focused on customer satisfaction. This role centers on managing customer service, cash operations, cashiers, and merchandising within the store.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise cashier and merchandising teams ensuring adherence to store policies and procedures.
• Train and provide ongoing direction to cashiers and merchandisers on their duties.
• Implement and maintain loss prevention protocols, manage daily cash office inventory, cashier tracking sheets, and PC Optimum procedures.
• Ensure store employees maintain professional presentation in line with Uniform Policy.
• Address customer inquiries about products, rainchecks, and resolve complaints based on established guidelines including refunds and exchanges.
• Encourage customer participation in the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) survey.
• Keep shelves clean, organized, and properly rotated; set up and remove product displays as instructed by the Assistant or Front Store Manager.
• Maintain store housekeeping standards and overall image.
• Comply with health and safety regulations.
• Perform clerical and banking duties as assigned.
• Adhere strictly to all store and loss prevention policies.
• Fill in as cashier when required.

Compensation

Hourly wage ranges from $17.15 to $19.15, with consideration given to candidate experience and the geographical location of the store.
