FPGA Emulation Engineer

About the Role

We are currently seeking a Senior FPGA Emulation Engineer to contribute to some of the most technically demanding semiconductor projects. This role involves applying advanced FPGA emulation techniques utilizing multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement FPGA-based emulation systems using platforms such as Veloce, Palladium, and various FPGA prototyping boards.
• Lead tasks involving synthesis, place and route (P&R), setting constraints, and achieving timing closure for intricate FPGA designs.
• Oversee system on chip (SoC) initialization and diagnostics through waveform analysis, instrumentation, and in-depth content evaluation.
• Collaborate closely with worldwide design and software teams, as well as manage relationships with electronic design automation (EDA) tool vendors.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced engineers and actively contribute to executive-level technical discussions.

Candidate Profile

• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or an allied discipline is required.
• Substantial hands-on expertise in FPGA design, verification, and emulation is essential.
• Proficiency with SystemVerilog and hardware description languages (HDL) is expected.
• Familiarity with AMD/Xilinx UltraScale+ and MPSoC platforms; experience with Altera devices is advantageous.
• Documented ability to execute FPGA implementation projects successfully, ensuring timing closure and design integrity.
