Job description
About Flowla
Flowla is pioneering a revenue execution platform featuring REX, an AI agent acting as a player-coach for sales and customer success teams. This innovative software aims to do what traditional revenue software has not: actively drive revenue actions rather than merely instruct them. Flowla operates from London with a seed-stage, VC-funded team of 13, founded by entrepreneurs with multiple successful exits. Their clients span B2B revenue teams in tech, finance, and healthcare sectors, ranging from scaling startups to established enterprises, boasting a 93% G2 rating, with reported sales cycles shortened by 25–35% and each rep regaining over 10 hours weekly.
Role Overview
As the first dedicated Sales Development Representative (SDR), you'll be responsible for generating a steady supply of qualified sales opportunities for the founders and Account Executives (AEs). You'll craft the prospecting framework that future SDRs will follow. This role extends beyond typical phone-and-email outreach, involving significant representation at dinners, events, and meetings to initiate larger deals.
What You'll Do
- Identify and connect with senior decision-makers at target companies, leveraging behavioral triggers, intent signals, and engagement data to time outreach effectively.
- Manage multi-channel outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn, experimenting with and refining engagement sequences based on performance.
- Collaborate with the CEO and AEs to manage event strategies: research relevant events globally, target attendee lists, and secure meetings prior to events.
- Attend events to engage prospects directly, following up rigorously to establish agreed-upon next steps with each contact.
- Execute daily power-dialing sessions, utilizing call recordings to improve pitch, discovery conversations, and objection responses.
- Ensure comprehensive qualification before passing leads to AEs by documenting problems, urgencies, stakeholders, and next steps within the CRM.
- Regularly share insights on messaging, segment responses, objections, and conversion rates with sales, marketing, and product teams while documenting successful practices.
Candidate Profile
- Possess 1 to 2 years of SDR or Business Development Representative (BDR) experience in B2B SaaS, preferably engaging mid-market or larger buyers, ideally targeting revenue leaders.
- Comfortable and confident handling phone calls with experience receiving coaching based on call recordings.
- Experienced working closely with Account Executives, understanding the elements of thorough lead handover.
- Able to showcase effective outreach materials such as sequences and scripts, explaining their success.
- Strong written communication skills, good judgment, buyer curiosity, and aptitude for establishing and optimizing sales processes concurrently with execution.
Success Criteria and Compensation
Performance is measured by meetings converted into sales-accepted opportunities and ongoing improvement in conversion rates. The compensation package includes a competitive base salary with a 70/30 base-to-variable split, uncapped commissions based on accepted opportunities rather than just meetings, plus equity stakes. An allotted budget supports professional development including courses and conferences.
Working Arrangement
The position is hybrid, requiring three workdays in the London office, with additional travel to industry events.
