About the Role
numi is collaborating with an innovative AI startup focused on autonomous agents serving some of the largest engineering and infrastructure enterprises globally. They have transitioned from developing tooling to a comprehensive agentic platform and currently operate with a compact team of about 15 employees. As they enter a rapid scaling phase, they seek a Forward Deployed Engineer to work closely with the founder and key clients to deliver high-impact solutions.
Key Responsibilities
You will be the direct bridge between enterprise customers and the product development team, interpreting client requirements and managing the entire build lifecycle of solutions. You'll take ownership of deployments and troubleshooting onsite, ensuring client satisfaction and swift resolution of issues.
Candidate Requirements
- A degree in computer science or an equivalently rigorous, hands-on CS experience is mandatory.
- Strong software development skills with a focus on building robust, scalable systems.
- Previous experience in Forward Deployed or Applied AI roles, preferably with exposure to leading AI companies.
- An entrepreneurial mindset suited to a fast-paced startup, comfortable navigating ambiguity and rapid changes.
- Ability to engage constructively with senior leadership, offering challenges and ideas in a direct, high-ownership culture.
Compensation and Location
The salary package is highly competitive and uncapped for the right candidate, with expectations around £250,000 for exceptional profiles, complemented by significant early-stage equity. The position is based in the London office and requires onsite presence.
