Role Overview

The Forklift Operator position involves safely handling forklifts of various types to load, unload, move, and stack materials in a fast-paced logistics and warehouse setting located in the Industrial City. Precision, efficiency, and strict adherence to safety standards are crucial to support smooth supply chain operations.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Operate different forklifts including counterbalance trucks, reach trucks, and heavy container handlers securely.
  • Load and unload shipments from containers, flatbeds, and delivery vehicles accurately.
  • Transport raw materials and finished products to storage zones, high racks, or production lines.
  • Stack goods securely considering correct weight distribution and height restrictions.
  • Cross-check loads against picking lists, delivery notes, or bills of lading for accuracy.
  • Promptly report damaged products, packaging problems, or inventory inconsistencies.
  • Manually sort, palletize, and wrap items as needed to stabilize loads.
  • Perform daily forklift inspections including brakes, fluids, lighting, and hydraulics, documenting findings.
  • Communicate any mechanical issues or maintenance requirements immediately to supervisors.
  • Keep the work area clean, well-organized, and hazard-free following safety regulations and local industrial requirements.
  • Adhere strictly to warehouse speed limits and pedestrian right-of-way rules to ensure onsite safety.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum education: High School diploma or equivalent technical certificate is preferred.
  • Must have a valid Saudi Forklift Operator License or TUV certification.
  • At least 3 to 5+ years operating forklifts within Saudi warehouses, manufacturing, or logistics environments.
  • Strong skills in handling counterbalance and reach trucks effectively.
  • Experienced maneuvering forklifts in confined spaces and managing container loading/unloading.
  • Good knowledge of warehouse inventory management fundamentals.
