Role Overview

We are seeking safety-oriented professionals who are deeply committed to operational excellence and teamwork. Ideal candidates thrive in challenging and physically demanding settings while maintaining precise attention to detail and procedural compliance.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements

• Operate safely and competently at least three types of open-cut mining machinery such as Dozers, Loaders, Graders, and Excavators.
• Exhibit a strong focus on safety and risk mitigation practices.
• Communicate effectively and collaborate well with diverse teams to achieve safe and efficient operations.
• Adapt to changing site conditions and operational demands with flexibility.
• Perform duties meticulously, following procedures and instructions closely.
• Function effectively in remote and physically intensive environments.

Location & Lifestyle Benefits

This position offers the choice to reside locally or utilize our modern onsite accommodation facility. Hail Creek Open Cut is located about one hour from Mackay, providing easy access to scenic destinations like Airlie Beach and the Whitsunday Islands. Our workforce spans across Queensland regions such as Mackay, Rockhampton, and Townsville, underlining the operation's accessibility and connectivity.
