Food Server

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled, professional, and guest-oriented food server to join a luxury fine dining restaurant located in Dubai, UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering outstanding table service, managing an assigned section, and ensuring guests enjoy a warm, memorable, and professional dining experience.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet and serve guests warmly and professionally throughout their visit.
• Accurately record food and beverage orders and communicate them effectively to kitchen and bar staff.
• Possess deep knowledge of the menu including ingredients, preparation, allergens, prices, and current promotions.
• Confidently explain menu items and suggest food and beverages to guests.
• Utilize effective upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities.
• Ensure tables are impeccably set, clean, and prepared for service at all times.
• Take full charge of the assigned section for the entire shift, monitoring guest needs and responding promptly.
• Follow up to ensure food and beverage services are timely and address any delays.
• Pay special attention to VIP guests and those with celebrations, allergies, or special dietary needs.
• Collaborate efficiently with kitchen, bar, reception, cashier, and other team members for smooth operations.
• Handle minor complaints professionally and escalate serious issues to management.
• Verify bills carefully ensuring accuracy in orders, discounts applied, and payments processed.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization within the assigned service area.
• Complete all opening, closing, and shift handover responsibilities diligently.
• Adhere to restaurant’s service standards including grooming, uniform code, and professional conduct.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience as a waiter in a luxury or high-end hospitality environment is essential.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are required.
• Strong understanding of the menu and ability to upsell effectively.
• Professional appearance with excellent personal hygiene.
• Positive attitude and the ability to work well within a team environment.
• Capability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods.
• Highly responsible, punctual, organized, and detail-focused.
• Passion for delivering excellent service quality.

Salary and Benefits

• Starting salary package from AED 4000 per month.
