Food Runner

About the Role

We are seeking a diligent and friendly Food Runner to assist in delivering a seamless dining experience at a luxury fine dining restaurant based in Dubai, UAE. As a vital part of the service team, you will help support waiters and maintain table readiness throughout service hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist waiters with daily service operations to ensure efficiency.
• Prepare and organize tables before and during guest service, including setting out plates, cutlery, glasses, menus, napkins, and condiments.
• Replenish water for guests and serve bread and condiments as needed.
• Clear and reset tables promptly and professionally between guests.
• Assist with serving food and beverages ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Maintain clean and organized service stations, fully stocked for smooth operations.
• Interact politely with guests, addressing requests or alerting waiters when intervention is needed.
• Support special occasions such as VIP service, large groups, and celebrations by coordinating with various teams including kitchen and bar.
• Adhere strictly to hygiene, grooming, uniform, and service protocols while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor throughout shifts.

Candidate Profile

• Prior experience in a restaurant environment is preferred though not mandatory.
• Basic to good command of English is essential; knowledge of Arabic or additional languages is advantageous.
• Exhibit a friendly, polite attitude with a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
• Capable of working effectively and swiftly during busy periods and under pressure.
• Physically fit to stand for extended periods and to safely carry plates and trays.
• Maintain professional appearance and excellent personal hygiene.
• Reliable, punctual, attentive, cooperative, and service-focused.

Compensation and Benefits

The total compensation ranges from AED 2,500 to AED 3,500 per month, dependent on experience.
